Case study: ECB
Win! Win!
Context
The England and Wales Cricket Board is the governing body for all cricket played in England and Wales. It is responsible for the management and development of every form of cricket for men and women, including clubs, schools, juniors and youth, disabilities cricket, representative, first class and international cricket. Don’t ask me why they’re not abbreviated to the EWCB ~ ask them.
Challenges
→ Pitch refresh ideas against two creative agencies
→ Craft the three lions crest to give it more bite (not part of the original brief but I believed it would help us win the pitch)
→ Design and oversee the production of a bespoke headline typeface
→ Modernise the visual identity system and produce easy-to-implement brand guidelines
